8 Health Issues Every Woman Should Know About

Good nutrition, positive emotions, and an active lifestyle are crucial for our health (some people used to wear rose quartz bracelets as an effective assistant for those faced with a loss of identity and those who are unsure of how to recover after a life-shattering event).

However, there are a lot of females who go through the difficulty of undiagnosed health problems because of the neglect of female tests separately. Women all around the world experience exclusive health issues that are more serious and sometimes even different from men. These problems include breast cancer, cervical cancer, menopause, heart issues, etc. Following is a list of women’s health issues that are ignored but should be focused on specifically around the world.

Heart Problems

There is a common misconception that men experience heart problems and heart attacks than women. But recent studies have measured the rate of heart problems to be equal in both men and women. The heart issues are a result of extreme depression, high cholesterol, smoking, or high blood pressure etc.

Breast Cancer

Nowadays, Breast cancer is one of the most common women’s health problems which starts because of the cell lining in the milk ducts. From there, it spreads to different organs and is sadly one of the most common and aggressive cancers there exist in the world.

Cancer in Ovaries/Cervix

People confuse the terms ovaries and cervix as one and the same, but they are quite different. Cervix is located in the lower uterus, and cervical cancer originates from this area. Ovarian cancer starts from fallopian tubes. Both of these conditions cause serious pain and discharge.

Gynaecological Health Issues

Gynaecological problems are the main women’s diseases when it comes to female health. The menstrual and reproductive cycle are sensitive to any changes, which can result in diseases and problems. For instance, excessive or no bleeding from vaginal area because of cysts in uterus, STDs, reproductive tract cancer etc all are examples of gynaecological health issues.

Post-Pregnancy Conditions

Any Pre-existing health conditions can grow and worsen during and after pregnancy to the extent that it can become a life and death situation for the mother and the child. Examples of such health issues are asthma, depression, sugar etc. Sometimes pregnancy can cause a perfectly healthy expecting mother to suffer from extreme blood cell drop, which is a condition known as anaemia.

Autoimmune Diseases

Autoimmune diseases are one of the most deadly and dangerous diseases because it affects all body cells and attacks any healthy cells in the body. The symptoms of autoimmune diseases include pain, irritation on skin, exhaustion and mild fever at times.

Osteoporosis

Osteoporosis is very common among women diseases because of lack of calcium and vitamin D. This lack is caused by pregnancies, menstruation etc. Osteoporosis weakens bones, allowing them to break easily. There are some factors that can cause osteoporosis such as age factor, excessive alcohol consumption, lack of exercise, smoking, steroids etc.

Anxiety Disorders and Depression

You might have heard that among both men and women, females are considered moodier. This is because of their hormone fluctuations, which cause their mood to change and even result in anxiety or depression. There is a common syndrome PMS that occurs before menses, as well as post-birth depression of mothers which is known as Baby blues.
